The KU men’s basketball team faces Purdue tonight in Kansas City, playing for a spot in the Elite 8 of the NCAA tournament. Good luck, Jayhawks!

in Kansas City during the 1987-1988 season, including the
NCAA championship game against Oklahoma. KU won, 83-79.

Correction needed above! “The Jayhawks played several games in Kansas City during the 1987-1988 season, including the NCAA championship game against Duke. KU won, 83-79.”
KU beat Oklahoma (not Duke) in the championship game, 83-79.

They defeated Oklahoma in the championship game, not Duke.
